I admit it's actually a little better. Better shaders for plasma rifle maybe. Shotgun needs work too.
Also, the Library looks good and bad at the same time. The lights are inconsistent and make the textures look bad.

If you guys checked out the guilty spark level of h:a you'll notice that the feel of the level has changed entirely through the environment.
I think orange lighting can work if you can build it cleverly, there is over a million ways to do things, this feel gives everything a semi damaged look if you add flood particles in the air or some flowing olive green mist that'll also make things look like a flood hell

I could do that, but this guys not as good of a modder. I could ask him, but he seems to like the red. I think its interesting... About the shotgun, someone else on the fourms this is based at said they would fix up the bitmaps if he would give him the tags. He didn't respond to that -_-. he's very stubborn.

Project cancelled due to majority negative opinion. Waste of time on my part.
P.S.: CMT SPv1-3 were created by dozens of people armed with the latest battery of modding tools and talents. I'm a single novice modder with 0 custom content creation ability. I have only unprotected maps, Eschaton, and my noggin to work with.
Want a better mod? Pull it out the crack of your ass.

You do realize a lot of people liked the mod right? Their telling you whats wrong with it, if they said "this mawd sux" than that would be trolling but what they are doing is giving you constructive criticism. I do what I can in terms of the appearance of the game. As for the Reach weapons, that's what was in the original CEA, in case nobody actually has SEEN it...yes the anims are still CE, but the models themselves are Reach-ish. The Reach AR is in there, all you have to do is watch the SC gameplay for all of 10 seconds. if you guys didnt read this was suppose to be a community thing its a collaboration project, and im sure he will credit the rightful creators of tags
- Remastered bitmaps for any or all maps in the campaign and multiplayer. If you are able, I'd appreciate it that you send me a map with the bitmaps for that map already there. All the other custom content would then be built onto that map. Bitmaps, for me, are the first step in making the campaign and multiplayer look new. That, my friends, is the springboard.
- Remastered NPC bipeds, including Keyes, the Marines, Cortana, the Covenant, the Flood, EVERYTHING AND/OR ANYTHING that can be modded.
- A few Halo 2 map ports for CE. Some of the larger maps are preferred, but whatever you can do is appreciated!
Let's put our creative heads together and make this the most amazing mod ever! Anyone interested, keep this thread going! :)

I keep a RUNNING LIST of anyone who's content I use to be turned into a credit/dedication section of the mod's read me file and official release note. I would make a quote but idk how on this site so i'll state what I read on many different sites "The reach weapons were prototypes that never made it to mass production". The magnum makes sense. I don't really mind the shotgun. The assault rifle does not make sense, its a mac4 or something and the halo 1 is a ma5b I think. Completely different models. The covenant weapons seem to fit so far. No repeater though, please. That thing was the worst. edit: ma37 not mac4 Also it took weeks for the POA to fly to halo, even through slipspace. Edited by disturbed on Oct 10, 2011 at 12:16 AM

One thing that would definitely help you, get some other people to help you :) To work on weapon models, or textures or some such. Doing something this big by yourself is a very big undertaking.

I want to make clear to all of you that this mod is being made for the retail version of halo, not CE. So if you make tags for him ask me to convert them (I run several desktops plus a virtual desktop of windows XP) or put the tags in an existing map file or tutorial.map for example. The ladder option is much less time consuming.

This is the silent cartographer. Dude, use higher quality textures for the cliffs on the first one its way too stretched. Also make them bigger.  The view of the island from a distance.  Touching down at the landing zone.  The new frag grenade explosion effects.  An Elite showing how, regardless of biped replacement, the character animations have remained the same.  A close-up of the super-detailed bitmaps for the interior of Covenant structures that will be seen throughout the game.  Descending the ramp to the security door. Demonstrates the new Forerunner interior bitmaps as well.  Looking back up the ramp away from the door.  An excellent shot of the Reach magnum's reloading animation for an empty mag. The guy who did this did some excellent work on the fine details. This is really my favorite thing about the mod. Bringing such a gorgeous pistol into the Halo that was defined by the magnum is really a treat.  Another shot of the magnum firing on a Hunter. Again, gorgeous detail for the pistol, as you can see with the upper receiver sliding back on each shot.  Moving through one of the lower levels of the Cartographer.  A plasma grenade detonating on a Hunter. (Thank God I had an overshield O_o) Note the great bumpmap detail on the right side of the image.  Approaching the Security Station  The new Elite Councilors replace Gold Elite Commanders armed with swords.  Readying a rocket launcher to fire on a Hunter.  Sneaking up on an Elite.  The glow of the rocket launcher round in flight highlights the underlying new detail in the Forerunner structure bitmaps.  This time, a rocket's explosion does the same, this time highlighting the super-detail bitmaps.  A better shot of the Elite Councilor bipeds.

My only problem i see is the metal floor it looks like concrete tiles instead of metal. when your outside and inside where the cartographer is. Halomaps.org has some good H3 textures.
Oh and if you want elites there are these elites in the ASCM campaign if you need them because they look exactly like the elites in the anniversary. you should ask CMT for the tags i'm sure they will let you use them because they look so similar if you compare them. They look ridiculously similar.
