I don't have a gaming computer, and most games work just fine on my computer. Dual-core processor :)

Spent $870 on that baby ^_^;

Pretty much insta-respawn in SP if I die >XD

Nah, but seriously, if Gearbox had the time, do you think that they might do another Halo PC port for us?

I dunno if they'd do another port seeing as they're working on that little slice of epic called borderlands 2.

@Eliteslasher: Is price really enough to make people buy an xbox 360 when ps3 is only around 50 bucks more and has a larger exclusive list?

Larger =/= Better

Coming from a mostly unbiased gamer.(I play 360, PS3, Wii, PC)The decision of gaming platform really comes down to which one has the games you prefer. I tend to lean toward the 360, but that's just my personal preference. All gaming platforms have their respectable exclusives and really comes down to your own tastes.

I see, the thing is though, judging from what i've read on the internet, a lot of people base their opinions on a larger library. I have the 360, I just didn't think there was much reason to buy the console aside from Halo and Gears.

Hey cool I had the exact same setup except P4 2.4ghz sincle core and a 512 mb sdram instead of 1gb, LOL. Still made halo maps, so I'm sure Open Sauce would run fine even.

Only thing decent is the graphics card (which, ironically, the 5850 which I have has gotten far superior results) and the processor.

Heres my rig:

http://www.xfire.com/profile/higuy5/

Bought it, and have practically changed every component that use to be in it except the motherboard, proccessor (getting a new one fairly soon) and hard drive (again, getting an external 1TB). It was 750 dollars when I got it, and had originally: mobo sound card, Nvidia 9500, 2 gb of ram.

1.5 ghz processor/ built-in intel video card that doesn't support T&L/ 1 gb ram/ 160gb hd / and it can't seem to render lens-flares in halo without drawing a little square outline around them
= sony vaio laptop.

this 560$ laptop eats crysis like nothing, 160$ more than the wii when that thing first came out.
seriously, console vs PC is a really old arguement.

The 160$ more means you're buying something you can use FOR ALOT OF OTHER PURPOSES <<This one fact is all you need.
