ok. hi. i regret to inform you guys (again lol) that im having difficulty with sapien. i found out today after leaving my computer on all night runing radiosity, that it has gotten no farther than it has when i left my computer last night. i wonder if sapien requires me to leave it as the most active window, because the numbers just dont count down when i dont. i have a lot of work to get done today and so i cant constantly keep radiosity going all day today and i cant do anything on my other computer so im wondering if its possible to inturupt the process and save what i got and continue the number process later. im running radiosity quality 0 and if i leave it for a while maximised the numbers DO count down. they do it slowly. id assume if i kept it runing maximised it could get done in about 4-8 hours.
any tips to avoid this would be great!

Yeah, you are making your first map I presume? I just recently made my first map. As Maniac said, use lightmaps. When I tried running radiosity, it stayed on 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 and nothing happened. I used lightmaps, and it worked great. Here's the tutorial I used: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6pPZljNGR0&feature=related#t=4m00

ive made maps before and ive done this a lot. i dont know why but it seems halo editing kit was corrupted. (i was running my whole halo program from a flash drive and things do sometimes get messed up) so i reinstalled and it worked perfectly.
