IDK if it matters but I usually create the cinematic title in Sapein. It should appear when click on in Sapien, so if it doesn't try to see what string the title is on. And if it does appear in Sapein and not ingame then its a scripting error.

Yea I want to add cinematic titles to my map, like you reach a certain point a line of text appears at the bottom-right corner of the screen, anyway I tried doing this by making a Unicode_string_list and naming it ingame_help_text and adding it to my map after that I made a new cinematic_title in guerrilla, and modified it using b30's cinematic titles as a guide, after that I put this script in my map:
(cinematic_set_title [Cinematic_Title Name]
But in game t doesn't work, can someone explain what i'm doing wrong.

Well I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume you didn't put:
( cinematic_start )

on before it, now I'm not positive, but I'm fairly sure if that this command must play before hand in order for the cinematic_set_title command to work correctly.

^ Lone, no, it dosen't need to be a cinematic for it to work correctly.

First of all, don't put brackets around the name, it dosen't need it. Second, in the scenario file you need to add a cinematic title, name it, and make sure it also has the correct positioning and string on it. Check an original map like a30 to see what I mean. The block in the scenario tag is right where you add in game help text.

Ah, I see. But he did say that he's added the cinematic title in guerrila to the .scenario, so it should be working, unless MattDratt is right, and it has to be added through Sapien.

And he used b30 as a guideline already for putting the cinematic title in, so assuming he's copied over all the values, it should be working correctly.

Edit: Only thing I can think of is that you haven't copied over the strings correctly, as Higuy mentioned. In which case, the only thing you can do is double-check everything to make sure it's correct.

Well you can see if it's working in Sapien. So if it doesn't appear in Sapien, then something is set wrong.

It appears in sapein? Like It should actually popup in the game preview window in Sapien when the title is clicked on.
