I'm sure you've all seen so I will let it speak for itself.

READ ME:

Author: Jesse

Credits:
Bungie for the original shotgun model and textures.
Infinity Ward for the Red Dot Sight and Silencer models.
Jesse for creating the actual red dot on the sight (lens flare).
Jesse for rigging the gun and such.
Zteam for their H2 firing sound.

To install this just drag and drop the folders into your tagset (inside the 'tags' folder) and hit "replace all". Then just load the item collection into
sapien or the .weapon in your SP scenario.

Significant changes:
This tag uses the same stats and animations as the original Halo 1 shotgun with a few edits, most notably
the spread which was reduced to about half for increased accuracy. The weapon also holds a maximum of 4 shots inside and 24 in reserve.
Crosshair size has been reduced to show maximum spread.

Bugs:
None at all except that the 3p shotgun is just a regular Halo 3 shotgun with red iron sights. The red dot sight and silencer models are
optimized and you can't see anything when looking at it from the front which is why I didn't add them.

Source model and textures are included in TIF and MAX 8 and JMS for the model.

The Red Pill is strong in this one.

That actually looks quite nice. The black effect makes it look sick.

But can you look through teh red dot sight? optherwise it'd be really impractical.

Getting rid of the red dot would make it 20% cooler
and yes I realize it was meant as a joke.

now i think about it the red dot looks a little faded
is it faded because of the lighting(shaded place)

Actually in MW2 I would run around with just a spas-12 shotgun with the red dot sight (even though I had all attachments) and on terminal I'd average like 40 kills just using that.

So has anyone downloaded and tried out the shotgun that's willing to give a well-based opinion?

Impractitactical shotgun :D

Impratactical should be an official term, or at least widely used, to describe most of the weapons in the new CoD games.

nice...looks really cool...
Not trying to be rude, but why couldnt you just model and sound (which i know is hard) the whole thing by yourself, then you could haz all the credit and feel even better about yourself?

Abkarch, I feel the same way but I still have yet to learn how to model. I recently started messing with 3DSmax in any real form and unfortunately mods usually come before complete creations. I'm gonna learn how to model soon but I just haven't had the time.
