Wanted. Somebody to go back in time with me.

I'm using this script to try to change between having a assault rifle and pistol to having a pistol and plasma pistol when the player walks into the trig volume. I used the script below. However, whenever i walk into the trigger volume, I end up with 2 pistols, an assault rifle and a plasma pistol. Im not sure what im doing wrong.

Yeah, I know. It sucks that the add is there. If you could just change the starting profile itself that'd be epic.

(player_add_equipment <unit> <starting_profile> <boolean>)
adds/resets the player's health, shield, and inventory (weapons and grenades) to
the named profile. resets if third parameter is true, adds if false.


The document may not that reliable. Try making it false.

it cant replace your currently readied weapon. So, make a recorded animation of holding your second weapon out. Run the first equipment script to give the second weapon, run the recorded animation, use the second equipment script to now replace the first weapon with the new one (recorded animation still running)

Not needed Kirby, but thanks. I developed a way to do it only with scripts.
