The trailer looks great and the article seems to dive into some positive sides to the mod. To me having seen where this project started, it is a pretty substantial feat. Even though it is just the first 6 campaign maps there has been some seriously hard work done on everything. Bravo to everyone who walked The Great Journey of this project.

I was told there may be another reason to why Open Sauce isn't being developed anymore but it makes so little sense that I believe, no I hope Masterz was just trolling. the way I see it, there has not been a team that would work on the multiplayer, side for OS. and as far as I know there,was meat to be one more update,that was meat to fix loads of things, for MP like the damn 4 grenades, here's hoping there still, is going to be one more update. |

Open sauce support is over by the developer. It was clear it couldn't compete with HAC2 for multiplayer, and everything needed for SP was completed.

The guys of open sauce mainly stuck around to ensure the release of TSC: E. That mod barely showed the full potential of open sauce and its release was pushed into the dark by the high hopes of Halo Online. I can't imagine any of the devs being thrilled about that. Last I talked to Fiery was before the release of TSC: E
about some features that never got implemented. Everyone seems to have vanished however it'd be nice to see them pop up again shall another big project arise. SPV3 is doing a lot better than I thought it would, and to be honest I'm more excited for it then I was for TSC: E. I'm surprised nobody from that side of the team appeared to support the mod. |
