he does and he is reasonable. If something has been done wrong and he is asked nicely he will fix mistakes and answer questions. He doesn't respond to hostility at all really, so if the message was made to ask in a hostile way he may have not answered. Otherwise, from my experience, it just means he has not read it yet.

I could care less if he changed my join date. It means nothing. However I didn't mean for the post to be in any disrespect for Dennis. And my PM wasn't hostile for that matter. I just posted this since I assumed he misssed my PM and figured this would get his attention.

I don't think it matters if Dennis is reasonable or not. He has been running this site for over around 5 years now. I think by now he has a certain way of doing things that fits this kind of forum.

Sometimes I have to respond to unreasonable people who think they are being reasonable.
When it comes to membership and participation in the forum you are 100% correct all that matters is that I am the Admin and owner and by definition what I say about those two subjects is reasonable even if you don't agree. Everything else you can make up your own mind about.

All this discussion because I made a snide remark in response to a less than truthful subject header. Who knew?

I think it really boils down to people questioning your authority, if you call it that. Also, is there any way of doing that thing with the "J" in my name? It's just a little grammatical error i overlooked when creating my account that still haunts me to this day.

Same here. Except with the beginning "P" instead. I was in such a rush to start posting I didn't see the obvious non-capital letter in my name.

That is the thing people can't come to grips with. In the forum there is no question about my authority over it. It is absolute. Just as the owner/admin of any forum has absolute authority over it. It is the price of admission to any web forum. I just don't try to disguise that fact.
