Could I perhaps make each needle projectile consist of 1.2 or 1.7 "needles" in it to make the effect of less needles for Super Combine?

So basically, no matter how many needles are in each "projectile", I have to fire this many projectiles for the super combine...

Hold on, I'm looking into the tagging a bit for the needler. I think it's possible to change the amount needed to supercombine, but if not then there's also an option to change how many roundss per shot which I'm about to test right now..

Edit: Nope. I made the needler shoot 3 rounds per shot but that didn't work.
Has 20 max ammo so that gives me 6 shots, with a technical "18 rounds" but it didn't supercombine.
I'm sure there's a way to change it, almost swear I've seen it done before.

Edit2: Hold on, I found a "projectiles per shot" so I'm going to test that one now.

Alright so changing the "projectiles per shot" seems to be the direction you should go. Now when I just tested out by having 3 projectiles per shot, they obviously deviated onto different paths but that's just because of the needlers tracking. I'm sure if you get rid of that tracking then it'll work.

Now this isn't exactly changing the amount needed to supercombine, but rather the amount of shots needed to supercombine, if you get what I'm saying.

So while it may take 5 (I believe) to cause a supercombine, you can change it so you only need 3 shots/3 clicks from the gun itself.

Which is the reason it is the best gun to use against brutes in Reach :)
