The original Brandon VA wasn't Australian, he was British.

meh they sound the same :p

They have a similar accent but speak different but close languages.

You aren't seriously saying Australians and the British sound alike.

Everyone talks with a certain native accent no matter where you're from.
You should hear Higuy say "poodles" or "odst's", it's amazing

But I think we can leave the topic of accents behind us now

Listening to a conversation between you two over XBL is incomprehensible enough, even for me. The best part was, you were talking about Lumoria and all I could understand out of the dialogue was the word "poodles" several times.

Yeah I can never tell.
Wait so what type of english is the "unaccented" one, american?

Yes. American's are considered to have an "american accent" when speaking other languages without a LOT of practice.

They do if your not one of them. They DO speak different languages however most of the words are the same and the difference's are minor.

The main 'accent' for English is what would be called "General American" and/or "North Central American" [to an extent]. It's found where I pretty much am, in Illinois and the surrounding states (Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin).

Politicians and TV hosts regularly "practice" this accent too as it's the most clear and audible one in the western-speaking part of the world for English.

the sharpness is a bit too much
its kinda weird to have vegetation in a cold high area

More small amount of content...

Some music I've extracted and edited a bit from Halo 2, that might make its way into EP2.

Also, since you guys seem to be so keen to talk about the voice acting, heres an audition I received that I would like your guys opinion on. This is for the commander of the Endless Horizon. Please keep in mind that he seemed to... over emphasize things, but he wont anymore.

I know what you mean, but then again, Master Chief wasn't regularly called Spartan 117, or Sierra 117, alot of people just called him Master Chief or Chief. May is Spartan 073, but May isn't her real name either, basically a nick name.

this time in ep.2 you should get the VAs that you actually fight alongside actually make complete dialog tags for their characters

Thing is, creating an entire cast of sounds for a character is a ridiculous amount of work.
Not lonly recording them, but compiling + tagging it all.

So don't expect that, we've got basic death sounds for May and that's probably as far as we'll go.

it took me maybe a an hour and a half to get my own dialog tag going, I recorded all the sounds, made up to thirty sound variants for some sound tags, and compiled them.

it's not a ridiculous amount of work at all, especially if you have the cast members make the sounds on their own, using audacity or something similar. then all you'd have to do is compile the tags in tool and reference the sounds in the dialogue tag in guerilla

Uh.... not really. For us its totally different becuase of the following:

1. We'd rather have quality work then a hours work.

2. We'd have to type up every single dialouge line thats needed.

3. Send those lines to those actors, wait on them (which would probably take a while), then once we have them, convert all of them to the necessary format, get them ingame, set up each tag, and then reference them.

Its just alot of work for something that really dosent matter a whole lot, and the time that it would take for it could be used for something that might benefit the mods gameplay alot more, which has always been the mods top priority.
