If you do make an account, you'll have to link it to a Google account, and you can't post videos longer than 15 minutes.
ANYways, I was planning on posting a vid, but it was too long (10 min over the limit >:U). UBEChief117 is mine.
Good luck with your account, Xonoratus!

^ Yeah, YouTube did tell me that some of the older members who've had "Director" accounts can still post videos past the 15 minute limit. But damn, I wanted to post my first vid there, and was forced to go through MegaVideo instead >:U

Both of my Youtube Accounts MatthewDratt (Created Oct 24, 2009 ), and HaloCE3Live (Created Jun 11, 2010) can upload videos up to 4 hours long. I have no idea how these accounts got to be enabled because A. CE3 has had copyright notices, and B. CE3 isn't even one year old. http://youtube-global.blogspot.com/2010/12/up-up-and-away-long-videos-for-more.html

CE3 isn't even one year old. http://youtube-global.blogspot.com/2010/12/up-up-and-away-long-videos-for-more.html Well, let me show you something... Quote: Your creativity isn’t bound by a time limit, so why should your video uploads be? Back in July we raised the upload limit to 15 minutes for all users. Starting today, we’ll begin allowing selected users with a history of complying with the YouTube Community Guidelines and our copyright rules to upload videos that are longer than 15 minutes. Quote: All users have the ability to upload videos up to 15 minutes in length.
At one point, users who initially had Director accounts were able to upload longer content - users with these old Director accounts still retain the ability to do so which explains why you may occasionally see videos from regular (non-Partner) uploaders which are longer than fifteen minutes. Having a Director account no longer gives you the ability to upload videos longer than 15 minutes. ^That was what I got when I tried to upload my (25 min) video to YouTube - and my account has been active since 2009. WTF. So, Matt, try and create a brand-new account with a e-mail address that hasn't been used for YouTube at all, and see what happens when you try and upload a vid that's longer than 15 minutes.

CE3 Was made in June of 2010 with copyright notices. Yes I realize its not for everyone; but you dont have to be a 5 year old director
