So I'm just wondering:
Would you rather see short little SP levels where there are about 3 encounters, each one being about the length of The Silent Cartographer 1st beach encounter, without any story? or Would you rather see a full length SP level, aboout the length of Lumoria, with a storyline and everything? the more encounters the better,provided they are different encounter and not the same over and over.
also maybe update your thread...flipped polys?

A long SP. Short ones really don't have too much of a purpose. If it's going to be linear, then it needs to have a good amount of meat on its bones. I want a story and at least one concept no one has ever done before. If you can't provide the latter, then I want $500. No exceptions!

So you guys aren't interested in short, action-packed, all about gameplay and encounter design... quick burst of action. Kind of like the first part Truth adn Reconciliation, everything before you get onto the ship. So you want another Lumoria type thing? Just wondering.

A level based on TaR, but you're defending it from waves of covenant, like firefight, but more of a defending this position, destroying wraiths on the other side to stop them bombing you, eliminate a stealth team etc.

Actually it would be quite boring unless you compacted it to be more CQB and add some other silenced weapons alongside the 68-bullet sniper. Also have an unsilenced set which does noticably better damage, so people can choose to charge in guns ablazin' if they want.

Yeah, I've got some really creative ideas for different new-to-CE styles. I want to do stuff that people haen't done before, maybe even something people won't expect from CE.  Doesn't everybody want to do that though? Edited by Xoronatus on May 20, 2011 at 08:57 PM
