As everyone knows, Jackals are the more sniper-class and phalanx-type enemies within the Covenant. I highly doubt that they've been trained on how to use Covenant vehicles, so this would be useless.

Use Grunts instead :D

Long-range + vehicle = turret.

Nothing mobile would work, that would defeat the purpose of being long-range.

And anything long-range would generally defeat the purpose of being a vehicle.

This. Why have Jackals drive when they're for long-range sniping? Doesn't make any sense to me...

Also, Jackals are generally less durable and cheap than Grunts. So why pay more for a frail Jackal to drive the ghost instead of the stocky Grunt?
