i'm pretty sure crymod isn't full of professional game designers if they were praising halo 3 rips and conversions not to long ago I'm pretty sure as soon as the rips were known about the member was banned for said rip. In fact, the forum has a policy of not showcasing work not your own or risk penalty. actually they weren't, even when i proceeded to go directly into the thread and expose them

Edited by XboxHavic on May 19, 2011 at 06:27 AM There's a slight hitch about getting it all in Halo. These models weren't designed to be made in one solid chunk. They're all modularized so when I do release these they're going to be modularized, simply put; you make one instance and multiply in the direction you want until you find the length corridor you want. That said, since Crymod is having issues with logins I've been making something else to help out. Here's one example of a modularized corridor;

Also yes, you're right, I'm not a professional game designer, guess what, neither are you, and judging by your naive attitude, you're probably not good at anything relevant to modding anyway, so if my opinion doesn't matter, what does that do to your's (and just about everyone else saying this is good) ??? Stop trying to troll me :) I've no vendetta to make, therefore have no reason to troll you. How ever you seem to have quite the vendetta against me which to be frank, has been rather petulant. Either leave the thread or contribute. Neither of which involve you carrying on this little charade.

Edited by SeL on May 23, 2011 at 09:43 PM That's being worked on at the moment. As it stands it appears that the issue is that I've not set up visual areas. http://crymod.com/viewtopic.php?f=282&t=68234 The issue is at the moment when i set up the visareas, everything disappears other than the sky and ocean. There also appears to the issue of the normal mapping becoming inverted on certain mesh for no obvious reason, I've tried both symmetry and mirror when finishing the mesh and it seems to make no difference.

I may not be an expert at the cryengine, but what would happen if you set a large block infront of the areas where the outside light comes in, and make it diffuse all light in that area but be noncollidable In Laymans Term: Make a Box or plane infront of the areas you dont want light, make said object block the light and not have collision

In blender, you can easily fix this by recalculating the normals using CTRL + N. Idk about 3DsMax though. -Zekilk
