It will only work in single player. I'm guessing gamma's script went something like:
Continuous ----If player_action_test_reload --------------- If player has the sniper ---------------------- game_speed 2 ----------------------sleep (however long the sniper takes to reload) ----------------------game speed 1 --------------- If player has the lawnchair ----------------------game_speed 2 ----------------------sleep (however long the lawnhair takes to reload) ----------------------game speed 1 etc Edited by SlappyThePirate on Apr 3, 2011 at 08:36 PM

You could have it dispense a single weapon variety with a shortened reload time.
ex: Activate machine, recieve assault rifle with quick-reload.

game speed would slow/speed up everything, not just the animations.

I am pretty sure that video uses game_speed 2. You can see how the radar blip speeds up during reload.
