Well, Every time I download multiple files from this site, I have to delete the first file I've downloaded and wait 30 secs (It treats it as I have cancelled the download) before my next download? If I don't remove the downloaded file from downloads section on Firefox, Halomaps.orgs treats it as the file is still downloading even though it is finished downloading...Help please?

Hmm. Yeah I think that is just something with Firefox. I used to have the same problem. You use Google Chrome as well perchance? That does much better for downloads from this site imo.

Everyone has their favorite web browser for their own reasons. I use chrome because I can access my favorites, saved usernames, etc on any computer if I need to, but mainly I use it because it's stabler than firefox and... well... I have to wonder who still uses IE, may God have mercy on their internet lagged souls. Firefox or Chrome is a must for PC users imo.

Dennis set it so you cant download multiple files at once. You MUST wait 20 - 30 seconds before downloading another file, its how he set it up. I bet dennis is going to say the same thing as me, or simularly, and lock this thread. But srs, thats how it works, sorry :( Oh, and my internet says you cannot DL multiple files at once. I bet firefox deals with that problem differently (your symptoms) Edited by ODST_Nick on Mar 26, 2011 at 07:45 PM

no but BLASPHEMING programs is trolling. Saying "I don't like IE or Chrome" is an opinion. Flat out saying a program sucks... Yeah, sorry to say but it is.

We currently only allow one connection per IP at a time to our download server and if your web browser is keeping the connection alive after the download is finished then it looks as if you are still downloading and just currently idle. We kill idle connections after 2 minutes so you can re-connect again. The most common reason a browser keeps the connection open is if you are using some kind of download manager. If so disable it. download managers are evil incarnate. Other than that all I can suggest is that you reset your browser to factory defaults or close the tab or window that is open to kill the connection.

Actually, when I mean multiple, I meant one at a time, one download after another. I know we can only download one map at a time...it keeps me stuck to the website waiting lols
So the problem is, after I finish downloading one file, I have to remove it from the downloads list and wait 30 secs before downloading the next....it's probably not that long but it's irritating when I plan on downloading 7 files or something...
EDIT: Never mind...Firefox uses a download manager.... Edited by Skyancez3o4 on Mar 27, 2011 at 01:45 AM

Just tried Firefox and safari and got similar errors.
I think there's a problem in downloading the "Easy Halo Scripter V2" Can anyone else download it? Dennis might want to check into it if it's not working. Edited by pepzee on Mar 31, 2011 at 02:21 AM
