When I try to patch Halo CE to the 1.09 Version, it always says "There was a file access problem. You have to be logged into Windows as a user with admin rights."

I tried running the patch file with administrator rights and my user account has Administrator rights, but to no avail. I also have Windows Vista.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you have a user account then by definition you don't have administrator rights. You need to login as "Administrator". The security model for Vista and Windows is different than previous versions in that they create an administrator account as well as a user account that you normally login to.
