Import your .wrl with CHimp Importer, is posible that your map have Open Edges

Recomendation. Use The Ghost's .jms exporter. Faster than chimp, at least for me, and seems to rarely give errors unless you REALLY screw something up.

Also, did you make sure you have all materials applied that need to be applied?
If part of a model has a material id of say 3 and you only meant to have 2 shaders (mat ID 1 and 2) and just have a piece of mesh accidentally as the 3rd ID, that can cause errors.
