You realize that just because Valve bought a couple of non-game-design assets from you doesn't mean that you automatically have the infinitely correct wisdom of proper game design.

But if you want to remain self-absorbed, who's to stop you? In fact, why does this topic still exist? The people with actual clues are arguing with a narcissist who refuses to believe he might be wrong because he apparently knows his opinion is the only correct one. In the mean time, the trolls have entered the thread.

Sel, you're a good mapmaker, but I think the forerunner structures and years of crafting them have gotten to your head. Please try to understand that gameplay value is completely an opinion and will never be a fact.

As much as I agree with your above statement, "the people with actual clues" are not getting involved because they know it's pointless. Instead, they're looking at the conduct of this forum, and facepalming over all the usless spam and arguing. Arguing that time and time again, has gotten nowhere, yet despite that, has managed to make up for over half the posts in most major threads.

Can we all please just learn to read the previous comments, and ask ourselves if what we have to add is really worth the time, effort, space, and drama?

Nah. Age doesn't really have any difference in this case really. Maybe they would need the consent, but it's not like they wouldn't get it. If I had done anything that could make money that involved one of my skills and I was held back by parents, disownment would be inevitable and I think they would know that.
