um, how exactly do i fix this? the .wlr or whatever, doesnt show where my error is in my mesh.
The HEK_TUTORIAL doesnt even mention this error at all within the table, in the references.
Tool doesnt say anything about it either, except:
02.24.11 11:15:27 tool pc 01.00.00.0609 ----------------------------------------------
02.24.11 11:15:27 reference function: _write_to_error_file
02.24.11 11:15:27 reference address: 42ca20
02.24.11 11:15:27 Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map'

So.. um help? D:!

Remove unused verts and delete isolated verts.
Is the map huge?

that was my initial thought, so i selected all the faces. Hid them, then selected the remaining verts and deleted them, but still the same error.

Well. The model is quite big, but its sort of set out like 'deathisland or b30' with a large ocean.
Other than that, no its not that big & was compiling fine.

I put a relatively large ocean, (50% size from b30). That compiled, then increased the size, (still not as large as b30's), done a few other things like adding more light planes and such. Compiled and then got the error message. Which i highly doubt could cause the issue. (light planes).

EDIT:
Yeah, rescaled that ocean area. Slightly smaller & now it compiles. :D
