You have open edges.
Use the STL Check in Max to help you find where the edges are. Also selecting your entire BSP with the border tool can help as well.
I believe if your using the Bluestreak Exporter there's always a chance you will get open edges even if they are there or not. One of the ways I've fixed issues like this is to delete and re-create faces or exported the scene and imported it into a new Max file.

There are also other ways to fix them (welding each vertex) but border+close or whatever the tool is can be effective, but you need to select each on individually or you'll have a crap-ton of random edges. If you are using bluestreak, you must convert to mesh before export.
