Hey, a quick question. How do you make a map rain / snow / fall ash / fall ligaments out of the sky? all the help is appreciated. Thanks. Also, how do i make the weather work in portaled maps?

Also, how do you compile sounds for CE? I've tried this millions of times, and IT IS ANGERING ME. :/

I compile according to this format MattDratt Gave me:

Template for CE
Dialoge: Format: .wav PMC (Uncompressed)
Sample rate: 22,050
Bit: 16
Channeles: Mono

Halo CE Music:
Format: .wav PCM (un)
Sample Rate: 44,100
Bit: 16
Channels: Stereo

Here's me rendering it in vegas:

Here's me rendering it 5 million times in tool :/

Here's it in tool (Before i click add)

Here's it when i click add

Please, send positive feedback so i can use this as a positive learning experence for my team and i, just like Dennis would expect you too.

All help is appreciated very much.

I don't understand. Vegas? Why?

I use audacity and been compiling 100+ sounds, with no error whatsoever. You can "find a way" to use goldwave, it has a good re-sample-er and saves in many divided formats.

Dratts taking his knowledge off mine, I presume. The only thing your doing is the command in tool incorrectly.

First of all, the end command should be ogg 128000, not xbox 1.

Second, make sure your typing in the file location correctly, as it seems you aren't doing that either.

Still not working. :/

Does it need to be a specific size / length? because i put the whole song in, and rendered it. could that be a problem? If so, can you ellaborate on me how to break it down, and do it correctly? All help is appreciated. Thanks :)

Another symptom: it's only 1 KB as a .sound.

Means you need a program to do it for you. There's a program on the site that will compile the sounds for you.
