I've been working on a few things, and while I was, I realized how bad I am at modelling. either way, I think you'll enjoy a few pictures as I make slow progress.

Not sure what I'm going to do with these _quite_ yet... But if you remember, I asked people for layout designs of a map. If you have some map designs written down I'd love to get some ideas (send me some via pm!)

The image sizes are jacked... I don't know why though.

Also, i am using 3ds max 8 for 'krieg, and on my laptop via software rendering it seems to be having some errors, so if it looks like there -are- errors there really aren't. just fyi.

Fake edit: These both compile, but due to my inability to texture they remain in their current states. I'll look into a UVW tutorial some time.

wow i took for granted that you would be able to do pretty much everything related to halo ce,
the texturing surpised me a little.

having almost completed the model for my map,i'm now on to texturing it,if you need help with
getting your model textured once it's complete.don't hesitate to ask.
i just got the hang of texturing a while ago so i'm no pro but i can get done what i have to.

Thanks for the offer but I figured out what I was doing oh so wrong! Oh, and you'd be surprised at what a lot of the older members can't do, heh.

Took a peek in my preferences after po(a)sting and figured out that I was getting lots of visual errors from using the software to render while I should have used OpenGL... So visual errors are gone!

Now what? I have no idea. Guess I'll make it up as I go.

Yes, I do, but they're pretty small updates. I'm not going to put as much work into the cliff sides and walls as I am this.

For the dip on the right, I was thinking of putting like some kind of waterfall landing there, pooling up, and then falling off it again. Would be cool methinks.

These both changed slightly since that picture but they both convey the concept.
