Hi, I need help?! Did somebody know how I can edit the opacity of a shader from Guerilla? Beacuse, the cool stuff of my scenery houses, is that you can see who is inside and who is outside the house! I want to make the window shader transparent.

Opacity properties are first defined in the alpha channels of your bitmaps. Make sure that the areas you want transparent or translucent are shown in your alpha channels. Then, use a shader_transparent_chicago for the shader on your model. You can set the mapping type in one of the dropdowns in Guerrilla. See a shader or bitmap tutorial for details.

Opacity level is determined by the brightness (or amount of white to black) in you alpha channels. Black is transparent, white is opaque, and then you can use any shade of gray to be translucent to any degree.

Change the colors in your desired areas with any kind of drawing, painting, or filling tool.

Use a Black bitmap with a black alpha channel on a regular old shader_model. It will render everything totally transparent. If you want some parts to be visible, leave those parts white on the alpha channel where the textured part is.

Then take your bitmap you created and compile it in tool (if you can't do that, look up a tutorial on this site). Then make the shader_transparent_chicago and refrence your bitmap.
