Well i tried it and it's sure good for a 1st try of a singleplayer map here are my ideas for you next version or next map of zombies:

Waves: it seems kinda boring when you're there killing all the zombies and getting no where, possibly more and more zombies as the waves go on.

Slighty less zombies: Like i said with the wave thing, it's a little overwelming when you got 50 zombies coming at you, wich is why i think you should put less zombies If you don't put waves.

Differn't kinds of zombies: I do hope in V2 or your next map you could add like Elite zombies or somthing (that would be sooo awesome!!)



Possibly a point system like when you complete a wave you get 100 points for example, and to open up more areas you need, say 5000 points or so i think that would work quite well, but know that i think about it i believe that you said "i tried doing the point system it just didn't work out".


now that i got my ideas out of the way i'm going to say what i really enjoyed about the map.

the random box thing: i though it was cool that you added that in.

The lazor gun: *Zap Zap* I mean who dosen't like lazor guns?

the powerups: Especially the max ammo thing it really comes in handy.

Your buddys: they really help though i have been shot by them.

The way the zombies AKA marines look.

Undead drones would make the game alot harder....
and by wounderwaffle, are you referring to the thunder-gun?

if so it dosen't tell you, it's nice like in firefight maps it tells your "wave complete" or it has a number in the corner.

It's really funny that you mention them because I already have been working on the wunderwaffe and have started a concept thundergun.

However I'm still having a lot of trouble getting any goo lightning effects to work.





And I have considered a zombie grunt already. But I'm not sure if there would be a way to correctly implement the winter's howl in halo.

Also, I do happen to have a 3d model of an MP40 lying around somewhere.

Just make it fire off a spread of homing blue needle rounds. If you turn up the projectile speed, the streaks that trail behind the needles would look a bit like lightning. Then it would just be a matter of increasing their impact damage and disabling the supercombine feature.

No, I meant I can't get a good "technical" lightning effect. I do have decent visual for the lightning, not the one in the picture, but I am still trying in vain to get the chain lightning to remotely work. My only other option would be to make the bolt create an explosion of lightning when the bolt hits a zombie. Making it function more like a lightning rocket launcher but I guess it would work if I have to do it that way.

Edit: You do realise that the MP40 in world at War was ridiculously overpowered right? In WaW the MP40, which is a 9mm, did more damage than the M1A1 Thompson which is a .45, if you ask me this was completely backwards, but I guess it's better than the fact that the .45 caliber M1911A1 did the same damage as the 8mm Nambu.

Yes but I'm not going to use any ripped files in this map, or any fueture maps.

The raygun uses the plasma pistol pistol animations, but it does bug me a little now that I really look at it.

Could you make it fire invisible homing projectiles in tandem with the lightning effects? That way, it would look like a burst of electricity, while the projectiles seek out individual targets, in an attempt to recreate the chain effect.

I considered that but then the lightning would not visually kill anything, besides the wunderwaffe actually has to make contact to electrocute anything. Doing it that way, you would never miss.

Lol. I would be nice to have the mp40 in the later rounds because it would do damage and noone stopping you from nerfing it.

then simply make the homing really weak for the first projectile,then have it create an explosion (which spawns more projectiles that lock on VERY well) and then repeat the steps. it may take a bit of tweaking to get it right.

DMR(If I can make a good model)
M6 SOCOM
Wunderwaffe
Thundergun
M1A1 Thompson
M2 Flamethrower
M2 Bazooka
M1911A1(Colt .45)
MP40
MG42 or FG42
Luger
M16A1(Vietnam era)
LAW
M60
NS2000
AA12
M32(Six Pack Attack)
M95

These were not chosen at random, they all have a place and reason for being in my map

I found a way to make them rechargeable and clip based. I can send ya the tags if ya want. I used it in one of my maps.

Could you just tell me, or pm if you don't want to publicly say, the method you used to set it up? I'll still give you credit for the method, I would just prefer to make the tags myself.

Edit: I know how to make plasma weapons clip based, just not in a visually appealing way.

Yes, all are going to be upgradable, and in the case of weapons featured in World at War and Black Ops, will be upgraded to there correct versions:

Thompson-------Gibs O' Matic
MP40-------------Afterburner
MG42------------Barracuda FU-A11
M16--------------Skullcrusher

You get the idea.

But I'm not currently planning on making the hounds or thief, but I have been considering other types of bonus waves.

Most likely yes, I mean, where is the fun in making a map if I let everyone else do it for me? Except maybe a bsp because for some reason 3ds wont export them correctly for me. However, I would never rip a bsp, unless it's from halo.

That list of weapons sounds like a lot of work...I'd like to see this map successfully made... I wish you the best of luck :)
