Apparently, this application allows the bypass of protected maps. People protect maps for many reasons, such as they dont want other people to spoil their work, they want their maps to stay popular for a while, and release an open verson when they feel like it. It is the author's say in when they want their work released, not the communitys. I am requesting that you delete this application off of halomaps, and protect more peoples work. I have ripped before, and i'll tell you, it is not fun. I've came a long way through these last 2 years being in this community, and when i released Zulu, i didnt want anyone having my work. I've been in that situation, i've been through most of it, Including some big mapmakers out there. So, please, do the favor and delete this application. Thank you very much.

It doesn't bypass any protection lol, it just renames the protected to something else.

Yeah but...what i meant was that its not really protecting anything.

eternal lightning is just the halo map protector in other words,the halo map protector renames them all to something < protection > like or protectionsucks or whatever, you can even rename it to numbers and it'll do the same thing eternal lightning does.

doubt it will be taken away nick,due to that you still need to find out what tag it is because it renames it to the metacode (g9g92gd i.e.)

freaking cry more, deal with it, this is the internet, nothing is sacred. especially not your precious little map assets that you were such a fool to try to protect in the first place. next time you complain about someone stealing your map content, think about all the music, programs, movies, and anything else you may have stolen from the internet

If you're here to have fun as you all should be, then you should allow others to enjoy your work and have fun as well.

this thread has inspired me to download this file and keep it on hand to distribute to anybody I want. even though I don't lay a finger on modding ce I just want to have it just because it makes all the stuck up people who think they're cool cry into their pillows at night
