My copy of halo says that my video hardware is too low for the game but i nkow its not any suggestions? is this a bug or am i mising some driver? because i recently updated my graphic drivers

Don´tt worry about that, my compter tell me that the first time, and i can play Halo with hight tetxures with no lag, most of computers will drop you that message. As i see, you have 512MB of RAM, well that sucks no offense. ¿2800Mhz? ¿Do you have a 80s computer? because the computer will process Halo so slow, and you will have lag, or some textures problem. I recommend to buy a new computer with 2GB of ram or more, there is a Halo CE version for Mac (I suppose) Macs are AWESOME for modeling, video, games apps. But the problem is that HEK is not compatible with Mac

Click the "Continue Anyway" button, even new graphics cards will not be recognized by the game.
It should run fine, just click the checkbox in the message to make it never display again.

You can run halo with no problems, but programs as 3Ds Max, Photoshop, After effects, etc will make the computer slow.

I used to have a computer like yours and it had the same issues. I'm sure that all the textures look like crap too and there is no detail or reflection or shadows or blood.
Get a new computer, yours is not designed for games. You cannot fix these issues on that computer.
