this thread sould of been in the Halo map design section.

anyway...So if your folder was "Mario" which has bitmaps, shaders.....etc... move the folder t o: Halo Custom Edition\tags\levels

If it's another folder that has models then move it to : Halo Custom Edition\data\levels

and 1 question, how do you get rid of the guirillabeta.map error?

I rushed it a bit so if you don't get it ask me ot someone else

For the guerillabeta.map i go to file>save workspace>save in the folder halo custom edition>click save..file>load workspace and select the file when i save..

Now,So my folder is Mario, this folder has the folders bitmaps shaders and models, in bitmaps i have Dangercanyon_cliff_walls.tiff and Dangercanyon_ground.tiff the folder shader is empty and the folder models has Mario.gmax and Mario.jms what i'm wrong? i put the folder Mario in Halo custom edition\data\levels and Halo custom edition\tags\levels...So are

Halo custom edition\tags\levels\Mario and Halo custom edition\data\levels\Mario...But is equal...when i open: You need to set your working directory

1.since your folder name is "Mario". The name of the map is going to be "Mario". Right?

2.rename your bitmaps to "map_name_cliff_walls.tiff" and "map_name_ground.tiff"."map_name" is going to be your map name.

3. I think you didn't place your folders in properly. Let me explain for you.

In "Halo Custom Edition\data\levels\map_name" it should have 2 folders called "Bitmaps" and "Models". In your "Bitmaps" folder it should have: "map_name_cliff_walls.tiff" and "map_name_ground.tiff" and might have more bitmaps like your water. In your "Models" it shoud have "map_name.gmax" and "map_name.jms".

Then delete the "Halo Custom Edtion\tags\levels\map_name" that you had made.

open "CMD" and use tool to create the bitmaps in your tags folder.

If you need more explaining, feel free to ask me or someone else.
