Make sure to convert to an editable mesh before exporting. Also, post your tool error so we can see what it says. The only thing I can really say is to keep collision low-poly while keeping it accurate to the original model.

What I know is low poly thats it. Everyone says the simpler the more tool likes it.Well why did tool reject a simple box made by 3ds max?
Do triangles have to all be a certain way,or different smoothing groups. I try to remake faces,or poloygons nothing ever works. Can someone lead me in the right direction?
Also before I forget,Is there a better method of modeling collision mesh? for example like make ing something in editable spline etc? About the collision mesh, what is this for? I know your error's have to be open edges,I wish I could tell you the best method for modeling collision geometry,but Im working on a tutorial for collision geometry.
There's no good tutorials,when I first hit the halomaps community along time ago,there tutorials are mis informing the few that are out there.
Im sure also you know to export as editable mesh.
Also must people say weld,but Im sure after reading your post weld isnt working now is it,alot of time's it never does.
When I finish my tutorial if you dont still have a clear understanding you can view it.
Only thing left for me is to get a really good understanding of what in terms is an open edge to Halo CE.

You got open edge errors on a box? Are you sure you converted it to a mesh? I can't see how else you got errors on a shape that 3DS Max makes for you.

I'll say it since he's not online,he's using bluestreak,as it's for his biped,and I believe Blitzkrieg doesnt support bipeds or am I wrong? ^ This is what he told me.
