I know a pretty good Modeling Program that I trust fairly well... Its Easier to use than 3DS Max... (Simpler) Its called Metasequoia It's normally used for making Custom Items on Runescape Private Servers... But I was wondering If you could use it for Halo Custom Edition... To make stuff like, Maps, Vehicles, Armor, Weapons, etc... Can It be used? If anything, I'd think It could make Vehicles, Armor and Weapons...

The issue isn't whether you can make it, it's whether you can export it. Right now, the only exporters are for 3ds max and gmax. If you could somehow export from "metasequoia" into a file readable by gmax and 3ds max, then yes, you could make stuff for CE using it.

Runescape used to be sprites.... I remember.
Anyways, with Mesosquafgfh, you will need to export the model to a .obj, import it into gmax or 3ds max, and then export. I think you should just learn how to use gmax/3ds max, as I had to when I was used to milkshape and started doing ce. Edited by MoooseGuy on Oct 16, 2010 at 02:45 AM |
