So...this may seem like a pointless question, but i do need help with it. I have searched high and low for this tag that (hopefully) the extinction map file contains. I am looking for the "gravity lift" (which really does not push you up) that is in both the Extinction tags folder and in the Truth and Reconciliation tags folder. And yet i can't seem to find it. Can someone please shed some light on this a verify what the name of the tag is? I have even searched in my "Scenery" folder after extracting both maps. I would really like to know the name of the tag. and if it is not in the scenery folder....where is it?
Thanks

its the big purple beam (is what i should have called it) that you see under the covenant carrier (in both Extinction and Truth and Reconciliation). Anyone know what i am talking about? If someone knows what i am talking about...can they please tell me where the big purple beam is. Also when you are on the Truth and Reconciliation this same thing pulls you up into the covenant carrier.
Thanks for any help given

The beam doesn't actually pull you into the ship, that's an animation. You can get it from a50's bsp.

Lol, you export the bsp into 3ds max using the bsp converter.

oh...ok I see now. I originally thought that it was a piece of scenery. That's why i can't find it...now it makes sense. Also...if i were to import into 3ds max...is there a way to export it and make it into a piece of scenery?
Thanks

It's easier to just put it into a bsp, but if you really must.... Take the gravlift model (delete everything else), and doubleclick the move tool. Set all coordinates to 0. Move the model up until the base of it rests on the axis plane. Apply the material for the lift, it is already UV'ed. Create a small sphere and name it frame_lift, move it to the 0 coordinates. Link the model to the frame_lift. Get the bluestreak jms exporter and export the model to the desired folder. Copy the lift's shader from levels/a50/shaders to your location. Go into tool and do "tool model DIRECTORY" replacing DIRECTORY with the location. Now go into guerrilla and create a new scenery tag, change its model to the one you made, and walla. Hope this helped Edited by MoooseGuy on Oct 16, 2010 at 12:51 PM
