Okay i just have a few questions about about switching bsp's here

What i have done is merged the bsp of chillout, longest, carousel and dangercanyon in guerilla and am making an sp on them. The story fits in with my campaign. The covenant are breeding flood for research purposes when the flood break out. Play as the arbiter and lead a platoon of rebel covenant to help the humans shut down this operation and stop the flood from escaping. The whole campaign will be more large scale than that but...yeah

Anyway:

1. When i switch to the 'longest' bsp it comes up "could not teleport camera to BSP' so i can't place stuff in longest

2. What is the command to switch BSP's? EG (please!) How do i switch from chillout to carousel

3. How do I change the skybox when the Bsp's are switched?

4. How do I remove a fog palette when switching a BSP (dangercanyon looks really gay with blue fog and a ight blue skybox)

This guy really has motivation to learn. ^^

1. Teleport the player inside of longest during the bsp switch via a flag during a cutscene or something, or just keep it at the player view, imo would be more boring but w/e.

2. switch_bsp #

3. The bsp will have its own skybox appied I think, if it doesn't add multiple skies in the scenario tag and work with that.

4. Fog is a bsp-cluster-specific thing, and can be removed by switching the bsp in sapien, and removing/changing the fog.

1. The camera in sapien will not teleport to the bsp so i can't do anything to longest at all

2. And do the BSP's start at 0 or 1?

3. Is there a command to switch the skybox??

4. Yeah i might ditch the fog but chillout may be wierd without it. Will see how it turns out tho

Musc3r my partner. What a sad story line. Everyone knows that sentinals study flood not covernent. You should make that the covernent attack the facilitiy then accendently release the flood. What a Noob

1. You will need to find the bsp after switching the bsp, just wander around with your camera.

2. They start at 0.

3. Not that I know of, but it is possible to do, ask someone who knows.

4. Meh, idk.

I know but wouldn't you think that the covernent where smarter then that. Y would you study flood if you where a covernent. Stupid. Unless you have the monitar with the covernent so the sentinals work with the covernent studing flood.

Muscl3r: In answer to your third question, add the sky to the scenario tag. Whatever number that sky is in the scenario, open up the scenario_structure_bsp tag and reference that number in the "CLUSTERS" section, in the "sky" field (the very first one; it will usually read 0).

Oh and headnob

Atleast my storyline is better than going to beavercreek and versing yelow hunters and some flood, boring old covenant for like 2 minutes with NO STORYLINE at all. So sad u can be at times, Headnob.

So, yeah, also, did you figure out the cluster fog stuff yet?

OMG. It has a storyline and it was my first sp. And I didn't get to finish it. Because my sapien did what it did. :((((((. At least I tried something different with yello hunters. Camo Hunters are in Halo 2 (only if assissan skull is on).
