What script would I use if I wanted a dropship to explode like it does in CMT's maps (with multiple parts falling all over the place and stuff like that)?

And by the way, how do I get dropships (any vehicle for that matter) to explode in the first place (as in, getting destroyed from a player or AI firing its weapons at the particular vehicle)?

Thank you for your feedback

Open mouth, insert sandwhich.

cmt's was not done through scripting and getting vehicles to be destroyed is done through the collision model.

What do I do with the collision model then?

The damage stuff is in the collision tag.

ANOTHER PROBLEM:

How would I get a player character to teleport from one BSP to another in a cutscene?

For example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eF4QxofflQ&feature=related

Oh yeah. That cutscene is one of my favorites.
It's simple. There's a fade in to purple, and then the script command for bsp switch: (switch_bsp #) I think.
Then, probably a teleport, camera_control, screen effect, fade out, and the letterbox stuff. You can find the exact script commands in the hs_doc or scripting bible pdf.

(Thanks slappy, the fade in and switch works, but the script bible is too disorganized and I couldn't find out where or how to use the scripts)

Okay guys, one last question I have in this thread, how do I make script commands work through the control panels?

(Use CTRL+F to find stuff by keyword. Or get the PDF version, in alphabetical order and includes examples)

You need a dormant script that's the name of the switch, I think.
