You can't; Gearbox locked down that feature in HEK.

yeah the only way to have custom animations is to create custom animations for halo lol.

Do I put the "hog_pelican_flag_1" in the flags section where the animation starts and "v_hog_pelican_flag_1" at the end?

from what i've tried the flags are pointless (correct me if i'm wrong) but setting up recorded animations is usually through trial and error the starting point is usually where the vehicle is.

Recorded animations begin with object_teleport, to teleport them to a certain flag before beginning the recorded animation. Add the object that you want to play the recording, and your syntax will be correct.

I did the teleport thing and played the recording and the pelican flew down my mountain and then landed in a lake! How do I set the point for the pelican to land, and where to leave?

You don't. The only thing you can modify is the starting location.

for my pelican drop off i had to change its starting location over and over until it went to the correct spot so its just completely trial and error.

Guys I know there have probebly been many people busting this before but i can't stand to ask: Can't we 'unlock' the recort animation feature? I know there is a bunch of guys that can do different forms of magic here like kornman that unlocked stuff in gurillia. I'm one of those magic guys myself but not for this sort of things. There must be a way to reconstruct the part bungie cut out of tool and stuff.

Tool has no command for this now, and we don't know how bungie does it. My guess is it's in the scenario, or the scenario has a hidden reference to animations somewhere. They're somewhere else. These animations were once data on a bungie computer, and we don't know for sure how to save them, where to save them, or how to compile them.

In some cases you dont need to use the recorded animations. Before my laptop crashed I was stuffing around with different things and I managed to make an AI fly a pelican along the path I set and to the exact spot I wanted it. It then waited there for 10 seconds and flew off again. I chose a pelican that didnt have landing gear so it looked like in the original halo game (when the pelicans hovered for quick drops).

Can't anyone make his own scrip whitin the game to make this recording work agin? I mean tool_pro could be made, kornman unlocked stuff in gurillia, why can't we at a feature ourselfs. The only thing I'm not sure of is the recording in game since you can't modify the game engine.

bungie when they didnt it corrct me if im wrong but the spawned the drop ship hitted record anim and drove it to where they wanted it but i could be wrong.
but u cant unlock it if you could korn would have.. it wasnt built with hek
korns hek and os_
is just hacked and modded ( i think those mean the same
