This site is dedicated to Halo Custom Edition only, any map hosted on this site requires Halo Custom Edition and any other files require either the HEK (Halo Editing Kit [what people use to edit maps]) or 3DS Max (What people use to actually make a 3 dimensional model of the maps)

well, it converts halo full and CE to demo/trial. you need to locate your full maps. im not sure of any windows apps for ce to full

Let me offer you the dumbed down version.
Visit Halomaps.org Enter the map you want to download in the "Search bar." E.G bloodgulch.varient.8 Click the download button. (If there isn't one and it's only 'save' , save it to your desktop) When this is done , a pop-up will appear from winrar. Drag the file which end in .map out to your desktop. (If you 'saved' it to your desktop , ignore this step.) Rightclick your Halo : Custom Edition icon and click find target or open file location. A popup should appear , and you look around in it for a folder named maps. (This will be filled with many other things that have an ending called .map) Drag the .map in your desktop to the folder. If it prompts you for special permissions or restrictions to be lifted , click 'allow' or 'yes'. Let it move the files around. Once this is done , close the folder and all windows that are open. Start Halo Custom Edition and enjoy. |
