im thinking about making a "i am legend" map where u have your house and there are zombies out side and there are light fixtures around the house to keep the zombies out and u have to make it too the colony with more spartans (like in the movie)

so what do u think

scripting the lights?

dont have too just make the flame emmiters right where the lights are pointing (gives it the sense that it WILL burn the zombies

it really wouldn't take that much to script a level like this it's a nice idea, but, if you want windows that lock shut and stuff like that you'll need custom device machines and all that lol.

im all done but i dont want to scipt teh stuff so i can release the map and u guyz can scipt itfor me XD

lol, i love scripting, it's the only thing im good at in halo ce atm lol.

well i can release the map and u can make the locking doors and the lights that kill zombies

and maybe u could teach me how to make a door with control panels

i could teach you how to make locking/unlocking doors using device controls but to do that light thing it sounds like something you would have to ask gamma about lol.

do you know scripting at all? because if you don't know any i would suggest learning it before i teach you scripting devices into the levels i would highly suggest using these tutorials to improve your scripting abilities.

so, use these tutorials before you decide to go on to harder things such as scripting device controls to open and close doors and stuff like that.

lol scripting's actually not that hard at all, i find it kinda fun (at times) but yeah, every once in a while i get bored of it lol.

well if u have an xfire maybe we could do a one on one tutorial

if you use polamee's tutorial it's pretty easy to understand also it gives you the basics of scripting so it's very helpful.
