I'm running Windows 7 64 bit now, and I can't run Blitzkrieg. I've copied all the .dll's over to my system32 folder, and the .dle is in my plugins folder. I rebooted after I copied the .dll's over, then pasted the .dle in just like the readme said, and I get this error on startup:
DLL [C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\3dsMax8\plugins\Blitzkrieg.dle] failed to initialize. Error code: 126 - The specified module could not be found.

I've searched around halomaps and google, but none of the topics have helped.

E: I just stumbled across a solution at modacity. Place the 4 dll's in your SySWOW64 folder (C:\Windows\SysWOW64) I already had 2 in there, and I didn't overwrite them and just pasted the other two over and it worked fine.

Run as administrator, run with compatability mode. Surely using an x64 3ds MAX complicates the matter.

Nvm just saw your edit.

I've never used any OS besides Vista (And XP once or twice, but only for schoolwork), Does Windows 7 crash as much as Vista?

Nooooo.

Windows 7 is a godsend. It is faster, more efficient, and more compatible than Windows Vista. It is possibly the best Windows yet.

Note that I've never considered any Microsoft product to a godsend, nor anywhere near perfect.

However, I cannot properly shut down because of my fluxy, outdated graphics card. The drivers on it are pretty messed up, they weren't even properly installed. FYI, Radion X1300 does not work at all. Fortunately I have a new computer :P.

I have to admit at first I was very cautious of Windows 7, and it took a bit of getting used to (the breadcrumb thing especially) but after a while I've gotten used to it and it's been a very great OS for me. It's extremely stable, I haven't had a single crash on it and everything seems to run smoothly and fast. It looks very nice like Vista, but it's very stable.

works fine for me. :/

If blitzkreig doesn't work, use bluestreak, that works for all versions of max.
