A few of you may remember the silenced M6D from CMT SP V2 variant of A10. This was far from the standard magnum, sporting a black chrome finish, laser sight, and numerous other modifications. Sadly, the tags weren't included in their release pack, and all maps that make use of the weapon are protected.

Would anyone happen to have this pistol, or one that's visually identical?

Notes:
•CMT's Spec Pistol and ODST Pistol are both variants of the Automag, not the M6D.
•CMT G3 also utilizes an Automag variant in their maps.
•The pistol I am looking for makes an appearance in SPV2 A10, and features a cylindrical silencer.

But Guerilla? I know how to modify a weapon's characteristics with Guerilla, but I'm looking for one that actually has the silencer, the sweet black paintjob, and the other features that made the CMT version so epic.

Be sure to study the pistol featured in CMT's second A10 remake as a reference.

The Spec Ops pistol is actually an Automag, and while it serves a similar purpose, isn't nearly as cool.

CMT's Laser Sight was incorporated into the first-person animation and HUD, which meant that while it functioned perfectly for you, it was completely invisible to everyone else.

Well, I'm not sure about getting one with a laser sight or ICEE's animations but you can get HDoan's from here:

Same pistol, no laser sight though. You'd just have to add that yourself.

Oh yes, now I remember..the pistol in A10 is different. It has just a round silencer instead of a full tacked-on one.

Sorry. I think there's a leaked version of A10 somewhere that's unprotected, how to get it though I've not a clue.

Yeah, I think the reason it wasn't included in the tag pack is that it was phased out by the Automag.

Yeah, just PM the tags to me. And thanks a lot for sharing, I'll be sure to mention you if I ever get around to releasing the map. The laser could use a little work, though, maybe make it a bit more defined.

I think it would look better with retail animations/origins, cmt pistol makes me puke. I can't use the pistol on snowgrove without gagging, animations are so bleh.

While the I was unable to find the .weapon file, I seem to have located the shaders and skins. How can I apply these to my M6D?

I thought I rigged the pistol you animated differently. Might just be me though.

You did, so I guess the pistol from MPG3 is better than the Tagset release one then.

Ok, I have the shaders I need for the pistol, but I'm not sure how to apply them.

There are three different shaders used by the default M6D, but I'm not sure in which order to replace them, and have no idea which ones need to replace them. Could someone gimme a hand?

Change one at a time, saving and looking at it in Sapien to make sure you're changing the right one.

I've never worked with shaders before, though, so how can I tell if I changed the right one?
