So I was making some quick joke tags for a friend, but of course, nothing can ever be "quick" or "easy" for me when it comes to Halo. So basically in max, my model shows up like this:

And shows up in-game like this:

http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff213/seanthelawn/Halo/voltorbhaloproblem.png

How can I fix this? Does it have something to do with alphas? here's my bitmap:

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm curious about this as well, as I am having the same problem.

Okay so I went into Photoshop and deleted the alpha, recompiled the bitmaps and then recompiled the map. No difference in-game. What should the bitmap be compressed as? (Meaning "color key transparency", "explicit alpha", etc.)

Also, I should've showed this before... This makes me doubt it's even a problem with the bitmap. Seen in this next picture, some of the white part of the voltorb is still visible.

Any other suggestions?

try making it a very light grey. somtimes wen you make it super white it makes the model invisible.

Yeah I tried that earlier, no luck.

I checked and they weren't flipped; however I did fix the problem. I must've forgotten to export the model from max as a mesh because I re-exported it and now everything looks fine.
