It can be made better, you just need to add terrain, structures and of course water. It would be cool if there was various lakes around two base. And you have to travese around or above them.

thanks deadlyfighter1000,just thought i would post the image coz it started from a basic box map.there's alot more to be done with this.i have made the bases and a few other models to go into the map,i was thinking of adding lakes and waterfalls in places,the area where the cliff has been brought down will be for the waterfall thats in the revelations map.....same waterfall mouseguy used in his map pitfall.

moose used revelvations sky. and he rotated the bsp to make the sky match where he wanted it on the map

yeah i saw it his map and also in the revelations map,how exactly do i rotate the sky to match my map where the edge has been brought down for it ?

compile it when your done get ingame put on the sky run light maps see where the water fall is postioned go back in to your modeling program rotate the map to where it was it will take a couple trys to get right

Ah, good times. Not only does it have to rotate right to fit with the desired sky, but it has to be moved up\down and all other directions to get it perfect. When i first compiled Pitfall, the map was sitting 50 miles past the waterfall, facing the other way, below it. So, just experiment, and there are other skyboxes where the same technique is used.

i have no idea which settings to experiment with to fix and line my map up with the water. can someone give me an idea of what settings i need to experiment with.
