hey man, that sounds like a pretty unique idea. of course it would take a lot of scripting and modelling and what not but i think it is possible. you have a good plan to follow as well, but i wouldn't focus on the map. i would focus first on the frigate you want, and try to control that. you could test out your idea with the Longsword, putting it in the map called RPG or something (which is VERY VERY HUGE. bigger than coldsnap). try to set up some kind of teleporter to walk into that would load you into the pilot's seat, and eureka. there's the first part. then, you'd have to replace the LS with the POA. i think that should help your planning :)

Dang man! that's a great plan! i thought about the longsword thing, and yeah, it's got alot of problems (for one thing, the main weapons can pretty much hit anything at any angle. just turn and shoot)... esp. the stupid bomb.... this is gonna be great. one question, do you have a team together to help you do all of this?? it seems hard... plus there's a halo 3 assault rifle (it is featured in "h3 sandtrap", just modded for my personal use) that makes the other ones seem like tonka toys. the animations are great, adn so is the texturing, etc. you have a great plan for all of this
