After my project Ivory Tower firefight failed because of an exception... I decided to use delta ruins by Arteen from CMT. Wonderful BSP/model. I love it, more asymmetrical. Better for a firefight map.

I have no clue how many rounds there will be. Right now there is 7, but the beta I will be uploading tomorrow won't have 7 though.

I need gameplay feedback!

I lol'd. Whole thing was a gimmick. It's a chore to play. Only thing half-redeeming is the UI menu, and that gets boring within minutes. Gamma lost the tags, thus the population and encounters were placeholders, which is why they suck more than a vacuum cleaner. Or so he claims.

If L0d3x unbanhim and Higurl made a Firefight map, it would caress the world with a brilliant golden light, and all the babies would stop crying, the dogs would stop barking, the criminals would put down their guns and turn themselves in, the rippers would stop ripping, the economy would stop sucking, the religious would start fornicating, Dennis would stop aging, the WBC would stop picketing, Advanceho would stop trolling, and THOSE DUDES ON XBL WOULD STOP DERANKING, OMFG. Overall, the world will be a better place. Oh, then I'd qqragequit life because I wouldn't be able to run it, very crying face.

Not Rambling:
You'll need much more than 7 waves for a release. But please, don't make them mindless. Don't be lazy, like "ehhhhh too lazy to put another squad of grunts with needlers, I already have ones with plasma pistols, okay this wave is done."

Also, ever consider FIXING whatever exceptioned on the old map? Hurf durf?

If done right, this could be a good firefight map. Make sure there is one phantom that comes in and drops some AI in the middle. Give plenty of cover, like Covy Crates, and make sure the "Monster Closets" aren't easy for the player to spam.

^This. Firefights require the least effort of all SP maps, purely because you don't have to design exciting encounters.

All 3 bsps are the same. I'd take a guess the original ones (Non cmt) are unprotected..

no cmt's has a hill and rock i think those are in the model... but it looks nicer :D
