I need to free 1.47m of tagspace on a scenario that has barely any tags as it is.

Lower the resolution of textures for the weapons. Not to drastically that it kills them, though.

That^, assuming you already have into the globals the same weapons\vehicles you got into the .scenario. If not, just edit your globals accordingly.

I changed all the weapons' textures from high to medium and it's still at 1.47m

What he means by that is manually resize them. The h3 BR that I'm certain you ripped has textures at 1024 x 1024. Resize it down to 512 x 512.

just take all the 1024 textures and resize them to 512x512 in gimp or photoshop.
