I'm trying to animate Spartan-094's ODST biped with some added equipment, but I can't get the new equipment to attach to the model skin without having the skin not move with the bones.
If attaching the equipment and having the skin still be animatable is possible, could someone help?
(I'm using 3DS Max 5)
Also, I apologize if there's a thread out there that has the same question, I couldn't find one.

Move the equipment to where you want to.
Then click the Link icon, somewhere in the top left, its the one with 2 boxes, there are 2 icons, and its the second one.
Then link the object to its corresponding bone. Such as a backpack weapon, it would be linked to bip01 spine1. Or if its a flashlight, it would be linked to bip01 head.
