Hey y'all. I want to go about putting new, better, higher poly needles in my needler, but am not sure how to do the depletion animation? How exactly does that work? They just get sucked in?

The animations wouldn't matter, just place your needles in the model. Delete the old ones. Link them to the correct nodes (green/frame). Then just export a gbxmodel for the FP model. You don't need to worry about the animation since animation tags don't store geometry data. Just make sure not to move any of the nodes.

Don't all the parts of the model have to be in the same model for fp or am I mistaken? Cuz I'm not sure as the original needles were skinned into the model. As I've pointed out before, I am not really any kind of an expert or anything on halo modding especially in the weapons department. :P

No, fp animations can be rigged to entirely different models. You should be able to delete all the needles from the original needler, and replace them with your lovely creation, and it'll all turn out fine.
