I have uploaded the campaign to Halomaps. I was getting bored with it, so I decided to cut e60 a little short. I'm lazy, I know.

I actually left e60 open so that someone can create a followup map. Right before it goes to the ranking, it has a command telling it to launch a currently nonexistant map. Contact me if you would like to know what map name to use if you want to continue the story.

Also, if anyone wants to make the branch where you stay on Sciophobia, I left that open. The idea is that you could make a map where you explore the planet seen in the background, find a drifting and deserted ship, or whatever. E40 is the only branch that cannot be added onto.

Additionally, I will do my best to answer any technical questions asked before July 1st.

Does anyone know how I would put this (or other maps) on 360?

Yes, I've done extensive modications to e10 and e40, slight modifications to e20, and added e30. All I need now is the fighting on Earth branch, the credits, and difficulty selection.

Update:

I added e50 today. It's a little short, but I'm kind of burned out. I'll take my time with e60.

I'm stuck on completing the final level until I know how to alter ai walking speed, so any help would be appreciated.

a note about e40:
so there was this part where the player fell into the water, then got up again and is supposed to drive the scorp.
i found that its had some sort of double speed effect to it. Is it supposed to be like that?
its quite unnatural, otherwise my comp's laggy.

He used game_speed, which slows down the game.

Yes, they are SP maps. The UI is something I need help making, not a current feature. It doesn't have to be anything extravagent, just a noob-friendly way to launch the campaign.

I guess I should explain what I'm trying to do. I want brutes, a jackal, and a grunt to walk patrol routes for a stealth based level. Instead, they always run their routes, which kills the gameplay and effect. I tried the crouching fix, but the brutes still ran when I set them to crouch.

Fix: Don't use command lists. Set the AI's initial state to moving and their return state to guarding at guard position. Then place move positions and firing positions.

Edit:

That kind of works. Half the time the ai don't move. I've tried spamming firing points along their paths, but that doesn't work. Any idea what would cause that?

Firing positions are where they go AFTER they're alerted. Before they're alerted, they should be moving randomly among the move positions.

I got one of them working, and the AI fits in with the level and acts smart. Seems like its just trial and error trying to get them to walk.

Yes, it's basicly finished. E60 is a little shorter than E40 since my life is starting to get really busy, but it's still good. It uses stealth gameplay. I should have the release uploaded by the next time Dennis playtests, I hope.

Edit:

I ran into a problem in e40 that if you shoot the officer on legendary, he doesn't take damage, but I've thought up a solution/legendary easter egg...

You can kill the Covenant and it takes longer, but admittedly it was a crappy level.

That's the one where you are captured by the Covenant. It's probably the worst map, but there is one cool part where you can fight a sword elite with a combat knife.

Help please. "Z" doesnt work !
I have played the maps, and i have to say.............THIS CAMPAING ROCKS, BEST SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAING EVER.....but...

I have a problem, i can't choose the second opition, the "Z" line, it doesnt work. I press the "Z", but it doesnt work. Do you known how to fix? I really wanna fight that elite with a knive.

The map creator most likely chose Z because it's the default key for zooming in. You probably repadded your controls to something else. Hit whatever button that causes you to zoom in. The default key is the z key, and the middle mouse button does the same.

That was a realy cool campagin, though I must admit, the cariter develepment wasent that great, you shouldent get hangup over the death of your squad.

Also, what did I do to get in the credits, I forgot.

I usually don't use this word, but i gotta, say, this has been AWESOME! :D loved it so far.
However, I'm stuck on E30! After bashing one of the leaders and sniping the other... nothing happens! I've scoured the map [found some dr. pepper cans woo] but... nothing else to kill or do...

You need to go to the third spot, follow the nav point, and then an cutscene activates.
