How do I make AI get in vehicles OR make them have a specific path to follow like an objective to a certain area.
O-------------------------> X
O representing starting point, X representing where he got to using whatever must be done to do so.

Sorry for the bump,I just wanted to help. [AI Paths] 1. Go to the AI tab 2. Click command lists 3. Click New Instance 4. Click on the Ai_command_list_block 5. Press the [+] 6. Click "Points" 7. Go to the game window and set the points you want them to go to 8. Go to "Commands" 9. Select Go-to and select "command",then select a point,and click New Instance 10. Go to your encounter and when you spawn a character in a squad,Select Command List and chose ai_command_list_block
[Getting AI in vehicles] There are two ways. First Way: 1. Script it. Second Way: Repeat steps in [AI Paths] except take out 6 and 7,do 9 except select the "vehicle" command,set the radius to,say,15 World Units, and spawn an AI near a vehicle they can enter,like,an elite spawn near a ghost,and set their Command list to the ai_command_list_block.
^This took 5 minutes to type lol^

^This took 5 minutes to type lol^ Great guide....BUT you forgot the most important part! Getting AI in vehicles is one thing, but getting them to follow command lists and drive properly are completly different things. There used to be a thread on this, but i cant find it. If anyone has the link, please post it.

We both left out:
Marines and Crewmen - Lifepod (Any Seat), Pillar of Autumn (Pilot and Co-pilot)
Of course,the seats in the front are just the seats the crew men sit in on the sides of the bridge. Edited by FtDSpartn on May 16, 2010 at 02:06 AM

In the case of the lifepod, it doesnt actually have any passenger seats. The developers just attached marines to the seat and set their animation.
