Before you start reading, all my problems has been solved, no need to worry anymore!









I got two problems on my editing programs that keeps me away from creating or editing maps.

Before you say anything, I'm limited with downloads, because my computer's slow and my parents don't want tons of stuffs that I won't be usefull, so if I got to download a service pack or some kind of these, please send the minimum. Some will be ok, but 5 downloading steps for a program is too much

This is my tag problem(not really important, skip it if you want to go straight to the point)


Now to begin, I got a damn problem with sapien: I can open it, but I can't find any "scenario tags" it's looking for! I mean, totally can't! I may go to levels\test\bloodgulch but it's not there, there's no such as scenario tags. Then I've been trying to open a map file, which don't work and said: "You're trying to open a non-scenario tags. Bad!" I don't know if the setup missed something! Also, it said in a tutorial that you need to make it compatible with windows XP service pack 2. I got a windows XP but the only stuffs I can compatible with are:
Windows 95
Windows 98/Windows Me
Windows NT 4.0(Service Pack 4)
Windows 2000
Which none of these worked.
Now, I need to know what did I miss or what should I do in order to make it work! If you're asking me to download HEK+, then read below!

Now's the time for the big problems: I've been downloading HEK+ from Halomaps, but it says than it requires the .NET Framework version 1.1.4322. I've been searching for this thing, which doesn't really existe. Then, I've tryed to download the 3.5 version, but after a while of downloading, it says: "The framework needs repairing." So I'm like ok! Then after a big while, it says than I need the original setups from my computer, but I DON'T HAVE THEM! My computer has been installed by the compagny itself! Also, I don't I got the setup programs, because I've been looking in all the components and didn't find it. Not only that, I already tryed to download the Framework v2.0 and it says than a greater version has been downloaded but not installed or something like that... Does it mean I'll never be able to make CE maps or what?!

Now please, I know it seams funny and easy to flame me and say: "Huh! You normally don't need 5 pack, you need 6!" Or: "Check on that thread of 913 pages and you'll find it on one of the posts!" Also, I would like to have a precise answer. I know I got a bad english writing structure, but it doesn't mean I'll be able to read someone who type such 4z tis t1p3 0v l4ngag3.

You seam to have a really old computer :O Maybe you should get a new one?

Yeah but it'll keep saying than I need the windows installing components, those I needed to install the computer which I don't have!

Now I'm curently downloading your thing and it seams to work... for now...

Ya thanks man it worked! HEK+ is currently downloading!

But my Sapien problem hasn't been fixed... do you think HEK+ will fix it?

Sapien only opens .scenario tags, and in order to obtain these, you must extract them from a map using HEK+.

Ahh that's another thing I wanted to hear!

This is why i mainly only look at the technical section of the forum.
