Hey guys, it's been a while.

I'm making a map similar to c10 (guilty spark) and noticed that the ground has fungi/mud/grass bitmaps randomly pasted all over. I was wondering how to do that.

thanks in advance.

alpha channel controls the blend between primary and secondary detail maps in a shader_environment.

I think I understand, like white for the primary and black for the secondary? Am I limited to only two?
Also, how would you recommend making the alpha map, I have 3ds max 7; does it have a painting tool?
