Before one of you say "USE SEARCH LOL", I have.

This is a minor problem, so I'll keep the question simple.

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate Edition and have just made a map for HaloCE. I was able to compile the bitmaps in Tool++, make the shaders in Guerilla; but! For some reason, Tool++ doesn't do a thing when I use the structure command. So, I thought. "No biggy, I'll just use the regular tool.exe" But, when I open it, it just closes a second later. I tried compatibility/running as admin, but it does the same thing.

Is this because I'm using Windows 7 or because my main drive is D:/ ?

Well, if any of you have encountered this issue, or not, let me know.

Cheers.

P.S. Here's my debug, if it matters.

That isn't a error. Your probably wondering where your bitmaps right. In the C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition. Hit the compatibilty, and look for it there.

I know where they are. I've been making maps for about 2 years now. I just upgraded to 7 and Tool++ and tool.exe aren't working. Also, I use D: instead of C:

I was trying to help, I don't how long you've been doing map making. Have you try Tool#or tool_pro? I use tool tool++. Taking a closer look, do you have cmd in Halo CE your folder, that how you use tool.

Seach cmd on your computer, copy it and paste it to your Halo CE folder.

I'm not upset, sorry. No, I've never heard of those ones. Thank you, I'll look them up :)

EDIT: Problem solved. Just had to make a new tool using Windows 7's CMD. Thank you, RevolutionaryCaptain for offering your help.

Ok here is what you do...

Go to your address bar and type "%systemroot%\System32" without the quotes.

Find a file called cmd.exe.

Copy it and paste it into your halo ce directory...

Run it instead of tool but don't delete tool.

If you don't already to you must start each command with "tool " without quotes.

So your structure command will be like this...

tool structure ...

Hope it helps.
